sapagkat ang pilosopiya ay ginagawa.
i LOVE philo.
specifically TAGALOG Philo..
(im taking philo under the ever-so-great-and-witty Ginoong Roy Allan Tolentino by the way. )
Padre Ferriols' readings rock! (bumabato si padre!. haha. . ohboy.. use of equivocum right there!)
before my junior year started, i had been quite anxious knowing that philo will be one of my core subjects.. you can call it paranoia or cowardice. whatever makes you happy. haha.
as with all love stories, there are certain moments that simply blow you away. this happened during my first sem. the reading was about Soren Kierkgaard (the philosopher who served as an inspiration for the names of Kier and Zoren Legaspi.. their father was a "fan" of Padre Ferriols and was actually his student. haha. galing ano?!) .. the topic was about repetition or "pag-uulit". here's an excerpt from the reading:
"Sasabihin mong tao kang palaging may saan at kailan.
at kailan nito’y magiging dito at ngayon mo, magpakailan man."

- excerpt from the poem of Jose Palma (1876-1903)
