huwat-ah-wik! (what a week!)

After 10 years...

heller!! ;p haha. yes, after sooooo very long, im blogging again. it is currently 1:14pm by my watch. ateneo time po. Lol. im here in front of the computer of my uncle since i have 2 free cuts today (*throws confetti and blows torotot*) namely Ma11 and Fil11. free cut math coz we just had our mid-terms last night (yes, gabi po. 6-8pm, full details later) and free cut Fil11 as "prize" for watching the required play and also in preparation for the "Sagala ng mga Sikat" later this afternoon.

now before i get all these things jumbled up, i just would like to give a shout out to:

acads! pero hinay hinay na rin pai ha?! ang
sinasabi ko nga "there is a fine line between

haha. kung sa bagay, tulad ko, crazy ka na
rin. ;p "birds of the same feather flock
together." hihihi:D mishoo na pai! by the
way, itayo mo ang bandera ng mga pagong!

kasa-kasama ko sa hulihan na line... tayo ang mga
tinaguriang amazona ba?! Lol. i am so glad that you
won. i know i need not give advice about service for
you've always been a natural in being of help to
others. .. o ang taray ng lola mo ano?! wahaha:D

**leneybaby! - ang aking burpday..este birthday buddy!:D i miss
your cute cute tummy and oh-so-soft cheeks!:D
pati ang iyong mga joke at hirit.. :P tc always lene!

as much as i'd want to give a shout out to everybadi, have to get one with the show. next time na lng yng iba... hihi:D bsta remeber, i miss you all and i love you all. *bow* :p


Math mid-terms
**never have i studied for a test ng sobra sobra until there was math. i have never liked it and it has always been my waterloo. but, as my dad always said "the principle of the thing is what matters!" and "you're attitude towards it will decide your success." i have put these lessons to heart and it has helped me in more situations than i ever expected. hindi lang sa math nag-apply kumbaga.

and so, before D-day (which was yesterday, August 17, 2005) arrived, i practiced the math exercises in the book (which, upon opening for my review for the mid-terms) w/c at that time had answers already to majority of the questions (my gulay, i am such a ner na talaga....haha). i started my "practice" ng saturday late afternoon-evening, then sunday morning until early aftrnoon..basta each day, may inaral ako pertaining to math.

segway lang, since im a member of ACMG (Ateneo College Ministry Group - the ones serving in the mass; choir din sila and im a member na rin :D.. next time ko na ike-kwento yun. bsta sobrang galing nila! pag nagta-tambay ako sa org space tpos may kakanta, bglang may sasabay na magvo-voicing na lang..coolness.:D kinda reminds me of the JB/Sr-C days... aww..;c) already, i serve sa mass. pag tuesday ng 6:55am ako pumupunta. but since i wasnt able to go sa mass service training nung july 30, 2005 (sympre alam nyo na kung bkit ako hndi pumunta di ba/!? .. debut ni geli:D) consequence is to serve in five 655am masses. kaya ayun, since monday prating 4-5hrs lng tulog ko.

soooo, nung wednesday after ng mass, pnta ako ng caf, pgkabili ng fod, aral. hbang sumusubo ng waffle, aral. pgkasubo ng frankfurter, aral. pag ka 9:20 punta lib para sa En11 (free cut pero research time yun), tpos Lit13 then ES10. sa sobrang pagkapuno ng isip ko ng math, nun g nagli-lit quiz, di ko maintindihan yng simpleng tanong na "What does the fog horn symbolize?" (if you've read "The Fog Horn" by Ray Bradbury alam nyo ito..") .. sinagot ko "the monster".. para akong ewan. yung sagot "cry of loneliness".. huwaaaat??? kinabahan na ako nun kasi baka ma-ganun ako sa mid-terms. patay tayo diyan.ES10, tpos lunch. 12:30 na yun.weird kasi plan ko na after ES diretso na lib para mag-aral but for some reason gutom na gutom ako, so pnta sa caf with my blockmates para kumain. and then, yes, you got it right!, Lib na naman!!!!! (major nerd na ba?!?! more of major praning eh!!) ..

i saw jeg!!!:D naka-gray siya na shirt nun. tpos lumapit sya sakin pnakita ID niya tpos nagtaka ako bkit. tpos sbi nya "pnsinin mo shirt ko".. same color sa ID pic nya.:D natawa ako. tpos sbi nya "look at the hair", sbay tinignan ko si jeg "ahahahah astig!" it was exactly the same sa ID pic nya!!! Lol. sbay sbi ni jeg "kanina lang yan tinake eh.."

pnta ako sa intact and fortunately maaga kming pnaalis (2;30 start pero mga 2:50 tpos na) so aral na ulit. my blockmates and i went to kagawaran ng filipino(fil dept.) para sbihin sa prof na sasali na kmi as volunteers sa "Sagala". kmi ang mga magla-light ng way ng parade tpos thrice na magsasabay sabay na magla-light ng sparklers kaya tatlo yng pinadala. dapat di na ako pupunta dito since i figured maaga ako makakauwi since isa lng class ko. pero ang nagpabago ng isip ko, pati isip ng blockmates ko ay.. ang plus 10 sa fil11 finals. .. why not makunat?!?!:D

3:00pm after leavingour names, tumingin muna kami sa art gallery na katabi ng lib. ang gagaling!! may part din dun mga product ng mga atenistang alum.. ang gaganda ng mga clutch bag pati jewlry!! sobrang successful na nila... kaka-aliw:D .. may particular painting pala dun na na-amaze ako, frmo afar para siya picture na nilagay sa tarpolin (pano ba spelling nun?!?) nung tinignan nmin ng maigi, it was a bird's eye view pala of a really big town fiesta!!! nung tinignan ko pa closely kung pano ginawa, pinintura lang! hand-painted.... i couldnt believe it. sobrang galing..:D

anyhow, after this short break, mga 3:14pm siguro, we went inside the lib and, yet again, studied for the test. by the way, itong araw na ito, nakakaaliw dahil sobrang sobrang daming freshie na nasa lib. puno talaga lhat... hahaha.

pagdating ng 4:20pm, (6pm pa yng test), after thinking if i should go sa choir practice or not, i figured what have i got to lose?? sobra na ata ang pag-aaral ko. so i went to the cchapell and nagulat pa ako dhl konti lng ang present. turns out, sbi ng voice head na ang dami na daw nagtetxt na hndi mkakakpunta dahl sa math mid-terms.

so habang kumakanta at mdyo kinakabahan sa mid-terms, nrinig ko na lng ang bell at sabay nag God bless ang mga fellow sop (soprano) ko. nakakaaliw ksi pati mga old member na ibang voices nag God bless since ako lang freshie na pumunta kt may mid-terms.
