halo-halong kwento atbp :D

Ola!! my gulay. it certainly is great to be back!! heehee. after a week and a half of not blogging, i must confess i missed it. :p anyhow, you're all probably wondering why i haven't been religiously typing away about the going-on's in mah life so here are a few snippets to what i have been up to:

last week i:
1)was always out.

*daytime = SK errands/preparations for upcoming
projects (payment for venue, meeting with art workshop trainer,
meeting for final fee for free lessons/art kits/food,streamers,
finalizing rental of lights and sounds by BeatBox, find judges
for acoustic night and battle of the bands, paperwork etc.)

*night time = daily 7pm mass and choir practice for installation
of our new parish priest and for our presentation during the
reception (pressure is on! more songs to learn in a small span of
time)

**by the way, a lot of people praised our choir! my dad was
really proud because in a span of 1 1/2 week(s? haha), we
were able to pull it off! 4 voices (soprano, alto, tenor
and bass) so i guess the church goers were surprised since
it was "banned" before. so far, i think si Geli lang yung
nakarinig na sa choir namin.(tsaka nakakita kay... *toot*)
hahahah! ask her na lang :D

by the time i get home (around 10 or 10:15pm, i'd be too filled
with different emotions! joy, exhaustion, worry, anticipation,
nervousness, etc!

2)finally pushed through with my braces.

*i chose who i wanted to have as my dentist and got my x-ray and
photos already! they placed my separators already then i pleaded
for doctora to extract my teeth the following week pa since i
won't be able to sing properly.

**binunutan ako nung monday may 2, first bunot, didn't feel
it coz of anaesthesia, 2nd bunot, was sooooooooooooo very
painful!! doc told me na the next time i go
sa clinic, tig-isang bunot na lang since bumababa daw yng
threshold of pain ko....whew!.. 2more to go!.. *my dentist
actually told me that i was brave since i didn't cry when he
was injecting the anasthesia.. thank God i didn't!kakahiya!
hehehe*)

3)practiced dance/duet for joy's debut in the span of only 2 days.

*my gulay ha, hingal na hingal kmi sa sayaw namin! hahah. we were able to pull it off pero..it could have been better. ehehe ;p joy and i sang our ever famous "my happy ending" acoustic version and with voicing. i played the guitar while she sang the lead. i am sooo gonna miss those days when we'd just sing while walking from the canteen and become really giddy when we'd be able to nail really good blending for that particular song. coolness :D i also played and sang (impromptu!) "Sway" by Bic Runga because a cousin of Joy asked if it was possible for me to do so. we both sang. kahit anong song daw e. buti nalng 5 lang yng chords nyan! haha:D

4)went out with my cousin, my mom and my aunt.

*it was my cousin's 18th birthday and as with all birthdays in the past, we celebrated it together. each year the 4 of us would go to different places and fill our tummies with lots & lots and lots of food!! kaya masaya ako parati pag ksma ko yng cuz ko pati aunt ko from the mother's side kasi it's an intimate affair and by the end of the day, busog kami hindi lang sa food but also sa kakatawa and with each other's company. this time though, we weren't able to make it a whole day affair because of my dance practice in Joy's house, my SK meeting and my 7pm service and 8pm choir practice. whew!

5)met my second family again and loved each moment.

*dang.. ang sarap talaga ng feeling whenever the class reunites again. the smiles, the
halakhakan (ay grabe... it was great to hear the tawanan of pia and kring ulit.. haha. nakaka-miss! :D), the chi-chi's, the kulitan, the kwentuhan, the pichoors, and soo much more. being in the same place with all these people just makes me happy. i missed you people a lot!


well, that's what i remember doing last week. it went by like a breeze. it was but a fleeting moment. tapos, friday na naman ngayon. i've had a full week again nd i know that this would all be over in just 4 weeks time. may 21 yung battle of the bands and may 28 naman yung acoustic night. the arts and crafts lessons were great and the last day would be on monday. graduation na ng mga kids. i learned a few things sa arts and crafts and met new people again. this is one of the things i love about SK, i get to do what i love --- go to different places and meet new people. sa una ako naiilang pero after a few minutes, kwentuhan na yan. :D

just finished handing out the first batch of invitations for the SK Tugtugan '05, our annual battle of the bands. if you wanna go, here are the details:

*if you wanna join, at least one of the members should be a Las Pinas resident. Get your registration form in the Brangay Hall of Talon Dos. Php 200 to cover for miscellaneous xpenses. only 2 songs. strictly 10 minutes per band. absolutely NO HEAVY METAL MUSIC to be played. limited to OPM, alternative, and RnB. failure to follow said rule would be subject to disqualification from the contest. submit your form upon accomplishment.

okay! tama na ang plugging :D naku.... i was soooo lucky to get to see him kanina. haha.. thought he wouldn't come! gulat ako. he didn't tell na makakarating sya. he just showed up. thank you, Lord!! i won't disclose the name. kakatakot. baka may makabasa! ;p it's been a while since i last saw him so.. ayun. gwapo pa rin. hahah! nagpagupit. bagay!! :D anyhow, hope to see him on sunday.. Geli, remember last Sunday?? heehee ;p sya pa lng kasi ang nakakita eh. :D

Luma ko nang pinapanood pero for a time nawala tpos pinapanood ulit = Contender, C.S.I. (yng pinakauna ha! of the three, yun pa rin yng gusto ko.. :D), Alias

last thing na kinain ko = nilagang manok (yum!)

last sweet thing na kinain ko =merengue (direct from Capiz!!! *angel voices singing Hallelujah!*)

last kilig moment = just 2 hours ago... hahahaha
