Of resurrections and come backs

welcome back, LIFEHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D ... it has certainly been a while since this band has released an album.. after their sophomore "jinx" (sabi nila yan ha.. not me!.. as long as jason is there.. heehee) which was released about 2 years ago, they are back and i have never been happier! :D as some of you may know, they have released their first single "You and Me" which is climbing the charts! the melody is exquisite and the lyrics, even better. it has certainly been a while since i have heard that smooth and unbelievably beautiful voice of Jason Wade. ;p sorry, ganda talaga kasi ng boses nya eh! .. some may think that his voice is somewhat similar to that of .. hmm.. can't remember his name...basta mr. vocalist of Creed.. haha.. but no way.. his voice is waay better.. ;p (biased ba?! haha).. i visited the offical site of Lifehouse and listened to some of the tracks in their new CD.. i can't really judge the CD at this point since it was only a few clips of the songs but.. i know for sure that it won't be a "jinx"! i kinda liked "Blind" , "We'll Never Know" and "Undone". i can't really decide if some of the others were really good since "bitin" yung parts. ;p

something tells me that this album would be better since Lifehouse veered away from the usual. im not talking about the songs, though. im talking about how they wrote and recorded the songs for this album. they had a new producer (John Alagia the producer who worked with John Mayer and the Dave Matthews band) and had a different lifestyle while making the album and i quote "the producer's laid-back lifestyle approach helped band become 'comfortable in our own skin' ". so i believe that this album would certainly get my vote for coming back with all you've got. and i don't think that i'm alone in this predicament. looks like a lot of people love the album already! because the #10 album on the Billboard albums chart next week is none other than: Lifehouse. :D (i am soooooo proud of my baby!! ... hahaha ;p)

okay fine, bonk me on the head of something, but i believe that there is more to Jason Wade than that amazing voice. read this.. it was regarding "You and Me" and how "does little to dispel the adult-contemporary tag they might have earned." since, yet again, it is a ballad:

"I think we might have shied away from releasing a ballad a few years ago, but part of this whole rebirth for us has been trying not to overthink anything," he said. "To write love songs that people connect to is not a bad thing. Nothing bothers me anymore, as long as people listen to us. I really feel like there are certain things that are beyond your control, like who's going to listen to your music. We don't care about who comes to our shows, we're just going to give it 100 percent."

okay fine, you might tell me that what he said may be "just for show", but hey, i am entitled to my belief right? just like i am entitled to thinking that he is the guy i have been looking for.. LOL. ;p sorry bout that, too much of Mr. Wade (teka, sa "Two Weeks Notice" di ba Hugh Grant was Wade?! .. coolness naman. sandra bullock fan ako masyado.. palibhasa i absolutely love "While You Were Sleeping" eh.. ;p) is bad for my health. now wait a sec, read this and i think you'd believe in what i said about him:

"When you're finally comfortable in your own skin — and comfortable with what you do — then you can't help but do it the best you can."

aww... right you are, Jason! now i simply can't wait for their other songs to be released!! .. i'm going to buy their CD, grabe. my newest pampatulog.. ;p rock on, Lifehouse! ;p
